Michael Schumacher is not immobile like what everyone thinks and this surprising report emerged just recently. It was said that the F1 legend is not bedridden or on tubes anymore and these reported details about his health condition are suspected to have been leaked to the media.
According to The Daily Mail, the German magazine called Bravo claimed that Michael Schumacher is no longer confined to his bed and could actually move around already. It was added that the famous car racer is set to be transported to Dallas, Texas where he would be further treated for his brain injuries. Moving him to the clinic is being kept a secret but apparently, this info is out now.
“We have a lot of experience with patients who are suffering this kind of trauma,” Mark Weeks, the director of the facility where Michael Schumacher will supposedly be transferred told Bravo. “There is probably no clinic in Europe that treats as many cases as we do.”
Michael Schumacher suffered from severe brain injuries that left him in a coma in December 2013. He got hurt from a skiing accident in the French Alps and it could have been fatal. The seven-time Formula One champ’s recovery was slow but his fans were deprived of information about the state of his health since 2014.
Schumi’s family decided to keep the racing champ’s condition a secret but did not state any reason for doing so. In response, fans got mad but Michael Schumacher’s friends asked people for understanding. They pleaded for Schumi’s followers to respect his family’s wish and to give them space since the tragic incident is more difficult for them.
Prior to this alleged move to Dallas, it was said that Michael Schumacher is being treated inside his own home. Medical equipment and apparatus were said to have been fitted to a room in the racer’s multi-million dollar home in Switzerland, and a team of doctors and nurses take care of him there. Lastly, as per reports, the Schumacher family is spending £50,000 per week for the champ’s treatment.
