United States First Lady Melania Trump joined his husband, President Donald Trump, at this year’s official state visit to the United Kingdom that concluded on Wednesday. Since the first couple spent most of their time dealing with the British royal family, it was not surprising that Mrs. Trump arrived packed a high-end wardrobe for the events.

The lineup of expensive fashion options Mrs. Trump had for the official engagements started with a printed, flowy dress from Gucci she wore as they get on the Air Force One. It was designed with some of the most popular attractions in London. So she obviously picked this ensemble to honor the events this week.

When they finally landed in London, Mrs. Trump came out of the presidential aircraft wearing a printed blouse from Burberry and a pencil-cut navy skirt from Michael Kors. At her first meeting Queen Elizabeth II and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Mrs. Trump was spotted wearing a white dress with details in navy by Dolce & Gabbana. And because she was in the United Kingdom, she matched it with a Hervé Pierre hat with the same color scheme.

For their most important events while in London, Mrs. Trump chose two gowns that would have been placed in the “best dressed” list in any Hollywood red carpet occasion. She wore a white, sleeveless Dior gown with a pair of gloves that extend to her elbows at the royal banquet on Monday evening. Mrs. Trump chose a red, caped Givenchy gown when they greeted Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall at the Winfield House.

Fans of Mrs. Trump likely did not expect anything less from her wardrobe during their 2019 U.K. state visit. Being a former fashion model and a wife of a business tycoon, it is also not surprising for her to have an expensive taste in fashion. However, it often leads to the question of who is paying for all these pricey items of clothing. The first lady’s spokesperson has already assured the public that Mrs. Trump personally pays for all of it.
