NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 08, 2017 -- McGlinchey Stafford PLLC will host an informative webinar, “Bring Your Own Policy (BYOP) 2.0: Even a Handbook is Not Enough,” Tuesday, December 12 from 8:00 a.m. CST – 9:00 a.m. CST.
Today’s workplace climate demands employers pay close attention to policies aiming to prevent and address issues such as sexual harassment, data privacy and cybersecurity, and handling employee complaints. Kyle Ferachi and Magdalen Blessey Bickford of McGlinchey Stafford’s Labor and Employment law team will lead a discussion aimed at helping human resources and management professionals address these concerns.
Both speakers will discuss attendees’ most pressing employment law concerns and will help identify issues and determine whether policies are up-to-date. Attendees will leave with next steps they can take to ensure their businesses’ policies are current and in compliance with changing and challenging state and federal regulations.
Ferachi, who heads McGlinchey Stafford’s Labor and Employment law team, said, “Previous BYOP events have allowed attendees to benefit from collaborative discussions about employee handbooks and policies. Our Labor and Employment team is excited to offer this program in a digital, accessible format for the first time.”
This program is open to McGlinchey Stafford clients and prospective clients. There is no cost to attend. This program is not eligible for CLE credits. Please register at least two days before the webinar. Login details will be sent to all approved registrants. For more information, please contact Mary Pendarvis at [email protected].
