In a bold move to elevate its renowned burger experience, McDonald’s is rolling out a series of exciting, nostalgia-inducing side items to its menu. Building on subtle yet impactful tweaks across its burger offerings earlier this year, these new additions aim to complement the crowd-favorite Double Cheeseburger, making the entire meal an unforgettable experience.
Best-Everrr Burgers Get Even Better
Malaya reported that McDonald's has been working hard to refine every layer of their iconic burgers. This dedicated effort culminated in the creation of the Best-Everrr Burgers, with the Double Cheeseburger leading the charge. Among the enhancements are upgraded buns, boasting a softer texture and a glossy glaze for a toastier bite.
Additionally, optimizing the cheese-melting process and introducing juicier beef patties — thanks to a modified grill design — along with fresher vegetables- have collectively elevated the burger to new heights of deliciousness.
A Filipino Flavor Twist
Continuing their commitment to cater to the local palate, McDonald's has introduced side items inspired by popular flavors from the 1980s and 1990s, adding a uniquely Filipino twist to the menu. According to Katrina Lee-Chua, Director for Marketing & Channels, this move is not just about broadening the menu's appeal but about crafting shared experiences that resonate across generations.
Among the nostalgic introductions, according to Manila Standard, are the Sweet Corn McShaker Fries, a delightful blend of sweet and salty with a distinctive sweet corn flavor. Accompanying this are the ChocNut Sundae and McCafe ChocNut Frappe, each drawing inspiration from beloved Filipino sweet treats. These items, available for a limited time only, promise to tug at the heartstrings of those craving a trip down memory lane.
Bringing Joy to Every Bite
"With our Best-Everrr Burgers and new nostalgic sides, we aim to create unforgettable moments and deliver feel-good experiences that keep our fans of all ages coming back for more," said Lee-Chua. Whether enjoyed ala carte or as an upgrade to any meal, these new items are set to make every McDonald's visit even more special.
