Manchester United has introduced its first proof-of-stake blockchain Tezos-powered NFT in the form of a key that grants access to exclusive features.
Fans of Manchester United, one of the world's biggest soccer clubs, need to sign in using their Tezos wallets in order to claim NFTs. Digital collectibles are stored in one's wallet and can be traced on the blockchain.
Manchester United's NFT key offers fans access to a slew of rewards free of charge.
They will be distributed to the club's fans at random.
The club offers entry into various different competitions and access to private Discord channels. Access to the club's soon-to-be-released NFTs will also be available to key holders.
Manchester United, who described the NFT as a gift to fans,
would also create a virtual world that would be connected to its official Discord.
