“MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 16 will be Desi’s (Levi Tran) second appearance in the action-adventure series. So far, her inclusion was received fairly well by the fan base, with most of the credit going into her combat sequences and her chemistry with the team.
But even though she’s fitting in nicely, she still has a lot to learn, particularly with the skillset that Angus (Lucas Till) have. The trailer for “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 16 saw Desi voicing this out as she now fully realizes that what she’s dealing with is an improviser by trade.
Indeed, she’s going to witness Angus’ ingenuity once more when the Phoenix agent activated a broken down jet turbine during their mission. The synopsis of “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 16 is below.
“The Phoenix must recover the body of a pilot whose plane crashed while testing an experimental laser mapping system that MacGyver designed; Riley tries to identify the hacker who tricked a SWAT team into arresting her and Elwood.” Apart from the pilot, Angus and Desi will also be tasked with retrieving chemical weapons in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 16.
Meanwhile, the appearance of Elwood (William Baldwin) seems to indicate that he’s going to have a more rooted role in the show’s future. In the past, Jack (George Eads) would usually step in the shoes of Elwood. But now that Eads has walked from the show, showrunners appear to fill this void with Elwood’s presence. The dialogue exchange between Riley (Tristin Mays) and her biological dad should be an interesting piece to follow in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 16.
The two doesn’t exactly have the best father-daughter relationship as Elwood was quite abusive towards Riley’s mother, a fact that the hacker is aware of. As for the release date of “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 16, it’s been scheduled to air on Feb. 22.
