MacBook Pro 2019 Possible Specs, Features: Better Keyboard, Touch Bar, and Processor to Save Lagging Sales?

Even though the 2018 version of the MacBook Pro just came out, it’s never too early to start giving Apple a hint of what consumers would want from the MacBook Pro 2019. Despite the many lovely features of the current version, there are quite a few issues with the most recent iterations of the famed device. This has led to some unfortunate sales numbers based on the report that Apple just released.

In the 2018 Q3 financial report that Apple just released, it was revealed that Mac sales are down, with only 3.72 million units sold. As MacRumors points out, it’s the lowest that Mac sales have been since Q3 2010, which was at 3.47 million. These are unfortunate numbers that the MacBook Pro 2019 might be able to fix. On that note, these figures do come with a few caveats.

For starters, since the MacBook Pro 2018 released 12 days after the official end of Q3, its sales were not included in the tally. Then again, it’s not as if there were no MacBook Pros in 2017, which shows how enthusiasm for the product was dropped. Perhaps the MacBook Pro 2019 can help breathe new life into the lineup, but only if it comes with the right features.

In a list compiled by Tech Radar, some of the biggest issues of the 2018 version of the MacBook Pro was brought up, including its infamous keyboard and soldered RAM problems. As such, the publication would like the Cupertino firm to address those problems in the upcoming update. The same goes for the Touch Bar, which is currently limited in terms of use and compatibility.

On that note, perhaps what Apple really needs to do with the MacBook Pro 2019 is overhaul its capabilities completely. So far, the Cupertino firm seems intent on catching the mainstream’s attention, forgetting that the Pro is supposed to be all about power and reliability. Taking advantage of the rumored Intel 10nm “Cannon Lake” should go a long way towards doing that.
