‘Lucifer’ season 2’s episode 6, entitled “Monster”, will find Lucifer absolutely guilt-ridden over killing his brother Uriel. He will become self-destructive in his struggle.
The synopsis for episode 6 posted on Comicbook.com stated, “Guilty and self-destructive, Lucifer clashes with Chloe during an investigation, leading her to team up with Dan instead. Meanwhile, Amenadiel bonds with Charlotte, and Maze takes Trixie trick-or-treating.”
The incoming episode will find Chloe (Lauren German) clashing constantly with Lucifer (Tom Ellis) during an ongoing investigation. She may soon find herself leaning towards working with her ex-husband Dan (Kevin Alejandro) instead. Meanwhile, Lucifer will struggle to deal with the guilt he has over killing his brother Uriel (Michael Imperioli) following a showdown in the preceding episode, entitled “Weaponizer”.
According to TV Fanatic, Lucifer stabbed his brother to death to protect Chloe and his mum (Tricia Helfer). Uriel visited Lucifer to offer him a trade: Hand over their mum or else he will take Chloe’s life.
Obviously, Lucifer wasn’t given a choice in the matter. As soon as he realized what he had done, Lucifer returned home to be comforted by his mother Charlotte.
It would be interesting to see how the devil himself tries to deal with Uriel’s death. Reports suggested that he would go through some self-destructive behavior like binge-drinking and sleeping around.
In the promo, Chloe tries her best to console Lucifer by telling him that he isn’t evil. She tells him, “Every time you say you’re evil, I know that’s not who you really are.” Lucifer shoots back, “You don’t know a thing about who I am.”
In the next scene, Amenadiel (D. B Woodside) makes an ultimatum, “I’m done trying to please someone who isn’t even here,” referring to their father, God. Dr. Linda Martin (Rachael Harris), Lucifer’s psychiatrist, also seems to be running out of patience. She tells her patient, “I need you to be honest about who you are.”
Perhaps the incoming episode’s title alludes to the titular character as he reverts back to his demonic ways following all that’s happened in his Earthly life so far.
‘Lucifer’ season 2’s episode 6, entitled “Monster”, is scheduled to premiere on Fox on October 31, 2016. It was directed by Eagle Egilsson and written by Chris Rafferty.
The police-procedural fantasy television series was developed by Tom Kapinos and features a character taken from the comic book series ‘The Sandman.’
