“Lost in Space” season 2 is almost here and as the premiere date gets closer Netflix starts releasing more teasers for the new chapter. In its most recent update, individual photos of the characters in their space outfits were posted.
Based on the caption, Netflix released the photos of the Robinson family in “honor of being ONE MONTH from S2 launch!!” They are not like the normal family pictures though because rather than putting on sweet smiles, their expressions are like saying “we’re ready to fight and survive.”
What’s up with the Robinson’s family
When “Lost in Space” season 2 returns, John Robinson along with his wife Maureen and children Penny, Judy and Will will have a hard time in the new planet. One reason for this is that they lost their dear friend The Robot that was helping them deal with the enemies since the day they met in the first season.
Their foes are lurking around and with no other help to get, the family must rely on each other, their weapons and knowledge. Needless to say, this will be a tough experience for everyone and they must get around the crisis in order to have the chance to return to where they came from.
The plot summary for season 2
“Lost in Space” season 2’s official synopsis has been released via press release. Part of the plot summary reads: “There are more danger and adventure ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists.”
The family’s first mission in the second season
In any case, the Robinson’s family’s first mission when “Lost in Space” season 2 premieres is to look for The Robot that disappeared during a fight in the first season. In the promo clip, Will is determined to find his friend and he will not be leaving the new planet until they find him.
Meanwhile, “Lost in Space” season 2 was confirmed to return to Netflix on Dec. 24.
