Logitech G and Tencent previously announced their partnership to release a handheld gaming device sometime this year. While the companies have yet to provide updates on the project, its design and supported platforms may have already leaked.
Prolific leaker Evan Blass shared several images on Twitter on Monday, claiming it belongs to the upcoming Logitech G handheld gaming device. The first image shows the device would have the familiar ABXY buttons, arrow keys, a dedicated home button, and a Logitech G button. There are two stick modules placed on either side of the hardware, and it dons the company’s popular “G” logo on the back.
The overall design hints at the Logitech G handheld gaming device having similarities with Nintendo's Switch Lite. There are no removable controllers, and the official announcement referring to the product as a handheld device suggests it may not have a docked mode like the regular Switch and Steam Deck.

In another image, the Logitech G handheld gaming device appears to support a number of apps. In a press release earlier this month, the companies confirmed they will also be working with Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce NOW for the device’s cloud gaming services.
Logos of Xbox and Nvidia companies appear in the said image, along with app icons for Google Play, Steam, Chrome, and YouTube. But the appearance of the Chrome and YouTube logos also suggests the Logitech G handheld device could be used for purposes other than gaming.
The leaked design hints at Logitech G taking the lead in designing the product, which lines up with the previous official announcement that Tencent’s main contribution is its “expertise in software services.”
“Logitech G and Tencent Games share a mutual vision of the future of gaming and are committed to ensuring the quality of experience comes together seamlessly to deliver on the exciting promise of gaming from the cloud,” the companies said in the earlier announcement.
Logitech G and Tencent’s official announcement earlier this month said the handheld gaming device will be released “later this year.” But the companies have yet to reveal an exact launch date.
