“Little People, Big World” couple Audrey and Jeremy Roloff are confirmed to be leaving the show. The latter personally announced their departure on July 10, and fans were totally caught by surprise since they did not see it coming.
On Instagram, Jeremy made the announcement by writing a long message to their fans. He also attached a photo of his family, and this made the note even more touching and meaningful.
The 28-year-old reality star revealed that he and his wife Audrey could no longer continue with the show. He said that they actually made the decision a year ago, telling themselves that this season would be their last.
"After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come," Jeremy Roloff wrote. “It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.”
Via Instagram stories, Jeremy Roloff further explained why they are leaving. He noted that he started thinking how long he would stay on “Little People, Big World” when Audrey got pregnant two years ago. Then when Ember was born, he and his wife felt that it is time to move away.
"When we had Ember, it really became apparent that it's time to make our exit and move away from Little People, Big World," he said.
At any rate, Jeremy told fans that they should not be so sad about their decision since they are not really disappearing. He assured them they have a lot of exciting stuff in the works and this means that they will still be around, but for different projects.
TLC also affirmed the Roloff family’s exit through a short statement, which reads, "We wish Jeremy, Audrey, and Ember the best, and are excited to continue to keep up with other members of the Roloff family when Little People, Big World returns next year."
“Little People, Big World” first aired in 2006. It follows the lives of Matt and Amy Roloff and their four children, namely Jeremy, Zach, Molly and Jacob. At that time, Jeremy was only 16 years old.
