Head lice infamously cause stress, disgust and embarrassment for millions of parents whose kids get infested each year. Parents in Arnold, Missouri no longer have to worry about treating the bugs themselves thanks to the opening of a new clinic, Lice Clinics of America.

Lice Clinics of America – Arnold (http://www.liceclinicsarnold.com) provides screening, diagnosis and treatment options for people infested with head lice. The clinic is staffed by certified operators of the AirAllé device, an FDA-cleared medical device that kills head lice and lice eggs using just heated air.
The Arnold clinic is owned by Eric and Megan Kluempers. Megan left a career in elementary education to start the business, looking to offer a safe, fast, effective way to treat head lice. “There have been may outbreaks in our area, many cases are coming from summer camps to families that are still trying to treat their children from the previous school year,” Megan said. “Most have purchased over-the-counter products and prescriptions and used them several times before realizing that the products don’t work.”
Since opening in early July, Megan and clinic manager Morgan Crocker have been busy as people learn about the service that removes lice and eggs in a matter of minutes. Each case is a story, Megan said. “Every story we have is special from helping kids get their confidence back to being able to rid mom, dad, grandma, grandpa of stress. It’s so great to be able to actually see the stress and worry melt away.”
Lice Clinics of America – Arnold is located at 39 Fox Valley. The clinic is open seven days per week by appointment. The AirAllé treatment takes about an hour, and comes with a 30-day guarantee when all family members are treated or screened for head lice.
The Arnold clinic is one of more than 150 U.S. clinics in the Lice Clinics of America network.
With clinics in more than 20 countries, Lice Clinics of America (www.LiceClinicsOfAmerica.com) is the largest network of professional head-lice-treatment centers in the world. Lice Clinics of America and AirAllé (www.airalle.com) are brands owned by Larada Sciences, Inc.
