As of 2021 there are a few states which are currently considering legalizing online gambling, these include; California with a bill to regulate online poker and possible sports betting, although online casinos have not been mentioned. New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Ohio, are all considering legalizing gambling in some form. New York recently legalized retail sports betting and is soon to allow online sports betting. Massachusetts has been floating a few bills in the online gambling field for a while. While Connecticut has been looking into sports betting as has Ohio.
