Lee Jong Hyun, a member of the band CN Blue, admitted his participation in the group chat where Jung Joon Young shared sex videos that he filmed without the woman’s knowledge. His name was linked to the escalating sex scandal in the Kpop world after screenshots of conversations from the controversial KakaoTalk chatroom were released by SBS' '8 O'Clock News.
One of the conversations involving Lee Jong Hyun and Jung Joon Young was so shocking that fans can’t accept the reality of it all. At one point, the CN Blue member told Joon Young that he slept with a woman and asked the “2 Days and 1 Night” member if he could send him a woman and he described the type that he wants at that time.
Lee Jong Hyun also appeared impatient when he told Joon Young, "Send me a woman quick." To which the former asked: “Who should I give you?” then the CN Blue guitarist replied: “If you have ones you haven’t *** that would be good, but if not, then just a pretty ***.”
He added: “Do you have any *** that are young, pretty, and nice? Ones that are good to play with?”
Now, the Straits Times reported that Lee Jong Hyun, who is currently serving in the army, did not deny that he watched sex videos shared by JJY. He initially denied ever viewing the footage but when the chats were released, FNC Entertainment, his managing company, talked to him again and he confessed.
With that, FNC released a new statement with regards to Lee Jong Hyun’s case. On March 15, the company stated: “After the report by SBS on March 14, we got in contact with Lee Jong Hyun and confirmed the truth. He is reflecting and is aware that he deserves criticism as he watched the videos via KakaoTalk, had inappropriate sexual conversations, and inappropriate conversations degrading women as reported.”
The company added, “He would not have been an idle bystander if he had proper sexual understanding, and he is regretful about this. He expresses his deep apologies to those who received pain due to the immoral and inappropriate conversations he had without a sense of guilt and also to everyone who has been disappointed.”
FNC said that Lee Jong Hyun feels “embarrassed and horrible” and he will accept the criticism of the public with regards to his unethical sexual morality and values. It as added that the star will also accept whatever punishment will be given to him for his wrongdoings.
With Lee Jong Hyun’s involvement in Jung Joon Young and Big Bang’s Seungri’s deceitful sex scandal, the fans are asking for his removal from CN Blue.
