LG Innotek was just recognized for its quality line of products. Jaguar Land Rover presented the South Korean electronic component manufacturing company with its Jaguar Land Rover Quality Certificate and this was revealed on Wednesday, May 26.
How LG Innotek was recognized by Jaguar
The luxury vehicles company headquartered in the United Kingdom awards one supplier every year for quality excellence and this year, LG Innotek got the certificate. The firm chooses suppliers that only deliver high-quality parts and have the ability to stick to the agreed delivery schedule, as per The Korea Herald.
It was learned that LG Innotek has been Jaguar Land Rover’s supplier for DC-DC converter products since 2017. This item is a key component that is commonly used in hybrid and electric cars.
The Korean company was also previously recognized by General Motors for quality excellence and it received the award for four consecutive years from 2015 to 2019. It was also chosen by Continental and Schaeffler Group as their excellent partner in the business. These recognitions only proved that LG Innotek has been continuously providing good quality products that satisfy its clients worldwide.
LG emphasized its focus on delivering only premium components to clients
The company has been getting good feedback and being praised for its commitment to supply only the best electronic components. The awards it received are evidence that it always makes sure to maintain the high-quality standard that it has been known for.
LG Innotek further revealed that it has plans to hasten its efforts to remain relevant and the best in the next-generation electronic and automotive component market that is rapidly changing. It will also be expanding its presence in the global market by adding more products to its portfolio.
"The certificate that LG Innotek received this time has a significant meaning in that the company's quality system has been recognized by a global premium car manufacturer,” LG Innotek said in a press release. “Automotive components are subject to strict quality control as their quality is directly related to the safety of drivers and passengers as well as pedestrians. Jaguar Land Rover produces premium vehicles and is known to have strict quality control standards."
