Ramsey, NJ, Oct. 16, 2017 -- Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leader in Technology and IT Services, unveiled a host of cutting-edge technologies and solutions at its 2017 FutuREady Conference. The two-day event was aimed at helping the company’s dealer partners better understand the need to transform their businesses to best serve the changing needs of customers.

This education-focused event, which took place October 4 and 5 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa and the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Carlsbad, CA, gave dealer partners an exclusive look at the future of Konica Minolta innovation. They also benefited from real-world guidance on how to leverage these solutions for improved business success and to drive optimal customer value.
The Technology Expo specifically featured Konica Minolta’s extensive solutions portfolio - including Workplace of the Future and Workplace Hub categories – and allowed dealers to experience technologies such as Managed Voice via its IT Services division, All Covered, in a mocked-up showroom environment. Designed to take dealers on a transformative journey, this Expo helped demonstrate how and what dealers need to become a Managed Services provider at all levels, across all verticals.
What’s more, Konica Minolta gave dealers a sneak peak at Workplace Hub, the world’s most connected intelligent edge platform driving the workplace of the future. It is a complete IT Management system that combines hardware, software and a full suite of services to enhance the one (1) meter by one (1) meter space the traditional MFP occupies. As customer needs grow via Workplace Hub, there will be new opportunities for ongoing support and service, making this a truly FutuREady innovation for dealer partners and customers alike.
“This week has been an opportunity to share our strategic direction with our dealers with an emphasis on driving growth by providing value-added services to their customers,” said Rick Taylor, President and CEO, Konica Minolta. “We have proven that the Managed IT Services business, Enterprise Content Management, and Workplace of the Future technologies open new revenue streams and have a positive impact on MFP sales. This is a competitive differentiator for us and has proven successful, based on our continued revenue growth.”
With a heavy emphasis on IT services that complement Konica Minolta’s existing print technologies, the company reminded dealers of the importance of adapting to an on-demand, usage-based customer service approach. With this in mind, Konica Minolta further established its knowledge of the digital transformation in the workplace and reinforced their commitment to technologies that connect people, spaces and technologies like never before, driving increased collaboration and productivity anywhere, any time.
The event concluded with the Blue Angels Foundation – Konica Minolta Golf & Tennis Classic at the Del Mar Country Club, La Costa Golf Resort and the Park Hyatt Aviara. The event was a great success and raised over $1.2M to benefit wounded veterans.
