About a year since the release of Square Enix’s role-playing game set in the collision of Disney and “Final Fantasy” worlds a much-requested DLC will arrive. Most fans will welcome the early part of 2020, taking down as much as 14 boss battles in the upcoming paid content while a set of free updates also await this month.
‘Kingdom Hearts 3: Re Mind’: Best new features arriving in RPG’s paid DLC
One of the reasons why “Kingdom Hearts 3: Re Mind” is a highly anticipated DLC is that it appears to continue the franchise’s tradition of offering well-thought-out stories. In the extension of the gameplay plot, Sora faces the daunting task of saving Kairi. His next journey begins by traveling through the Keyblade Graveyard, where the developers promise unimaginable truths will be revealed.
The DLC arrives with an additional story with the same title along with a couple of new episodes that also comes with new game levels that players will have to complete to accomplish Sora’s mission. “Kingdom Hearts 3: Re Mind” will arrive with a limit cut episode that offers 13 boss battles as well as a secret episode that has its own boss battle.
Paying for the DLC will also give players access to a new data greeting feature, a slideshow feature, and a premium menu that comes with diverse difficulty settings and challenges. The base game released last year is required to play “Re Mind.
“Kingdom Hearts 3: Re Mind” is available for $29.99, while the option with the Concert Video is priced at $39.99. PlayStation 4 players have a couple of advantages as pre-ordering any edition will give them a free "Re Mind" theme. They can also access the DLC a month earlier on Jan. 23 while Xbox One player will wait until Feb. 25.
‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ free update
As mentioned, Square Enix also has a list of free updates planned for “Kingdom Hearts 3” players this month in the game’s version 1.07. The new contents include an update on the main story, new abilities, and the addition of the Oathkeeper and Oblivion Keyblades along with new form changes. A specific release date for the free update is yet to be announced.
