“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” season 17 is up next with the conclusion of season 16 last month. It was said that the finale of the previous season was the most-watched in almost three years and that was not surprising because the ending was about the cheating scandal involving Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson.
The finale of the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” season 16 titled “Aftershock” was explosive as Khloe Kardashian lets out her anger about her boyfriend and family friend who allegedly had an affair. Her sisters want her to unwind so she can cope because she was really angry after learning that Jordyn Woods was publicly talking about the scandal.
Renewal
Season 16 averaged 1.9 million viewers, and this is seven percent more than the 15th. It was added that “KUWTK” gained more viewers under 50, as per The Wrap. In any case, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” season 17 has long been renewed. The family signed a deal with E! Entertainment for additional five seasons in 2017 and at that time the show already aired 13 seasons.
The deal was reportedly worth less than $100 million, and the contract is ending in 2020. It is not known if they will be extending for more seasons next year.
“We are incredibly proud of our partnership with the Kardashians and they remain an important part of the E! family,” CNN quoted E! Spokesperson as saying in a statement. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration for years to come.”
New trailer
A new trailer for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” season 17 has been released. It showed Kourtney talking about her anxiety and shed tears while talking with Khloe. It is her 40th birthday, and Kourtney is not exactly feeling happy after analyzing her life, she knows that she should still be very thankful though because she has everything.
Other things to expect
The 17th season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will introduce the kids in the Kardashian clan. It seems they will have their own segments in the upcoming season and in fact, Mason Disick has his very first solo confessional already and the other kids are likely to follow suit. The show is returning on Sept. 15 on E!
