Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are very much a couple and they have been spotted together a number of times in the past couple of months. But are they getting an apartment together in New York?
According to American celebrity tabloid magazine Star, the low-key couple has reportedly discussed buying a $56 million luxury apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side with Jamie agreeing to leave Los Angeles to live with Katie in New York. The magazine’s alleged source even claimed that they were renovating one of the rooms to transform it into a nursery because Katie wants to have a baby.
This is a huge step forward for Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx if it is true. Unfortunately, Gossip Cop has shut down the claims as they explained that this was all made up by the tabloid magazine.
“The tabloid essentially rewrote an inaccurate story from an Australian magazine and appears to have peppered it with fake quotations about Foxx and Holmes buying a $56 million penthouse in New York. It also hints that Holmes wants more kids, just one month after reporting she was already pregnant. Additionally, while the publication relies on an unnamed and untraceable ‘source,’ Holmes’ rep has gone on the record to shoot down the claim about the actress and Foxx dropping a fortune together on a luxury Manhattan apartment.”
As noted by Gossip Cop, the sale of a $56 million apartment would have garnered a lot of media attention, so how come no one has reported about it? Well, no one aside from Star.
In any case, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx seem to be getting more comfortable with their relationship these days and they are not afraid to flaunt their romance in public. Earlier this month, the couple were spotted at a yacht party in New York and they seemed to have a great time there.
