Kate Middleton has reportedly been struggling ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to quit the royal family.

According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge has been in a panic, and she’s also having bouts of anxiety since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s bombshell exit.

Prince Harry and Markle’s departure means that Prince William and Middleton will be taking on more royal duties and responsibilities on top of their ongoing preparations to become the future king and queen of Britain. As such, the mom of three has found it impossible to get some rest.

“She barely has time to rest, and when she does try to sleep, her mind is constantly racing,” the source said.

The insider also said that the Duchess of Cambridge has been having 18-hour workdays, which means that she only has six hours to spend time at home and with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Middleton and Markle’s relationship couldn’t also be farther apart. A source previously said that the sisters-in-law have not spoken to each other since Prince Harry and Markle’s bombshell exit.

Prince William has expressed his sadness over his brother and sister-in-law’s shocking decision, but Middleton has stayed mum about it. Royal fans are convinced that this because Middleton and Markle are still feuding.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge aren’t the only ones that are affected by Prince Harry and Markle’s exit. Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex are also expected to take on more responsibilities and patronages in the coming months.

While speaking with Hello! magazine, royal biographer Robert Lacey said that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie might also be forced to step in even though they are not considered to be working royals.

“If two go out, two have got to come in, and those two have got to be Beatrice and Eugenie. I’m sure they will step forward and be greatly welcomed... It’s ironic that Harry mentioned his cousins as models of how he wants to be,” he said.
