Jungkook and the rest of the BTS members were granted an extended vacation time by their agency, Big Hit Entertainment. This information was revealed via an announcement on social media.
On Aug. 11, the agency posted a note, and it stated that RM, Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jin, V, and Suga would be taking a break. The group will not be performing for a while for their official and extended period of rest and relaxation according to Big Hit Entertainment.
The extended break for BTS
It was stated that BTS’ performance at the LOTTE DUTY-FREE Family Concert would be their last schedule before they take a holiday. The extension was made to give Jungkook and the rest their much-needed rest and give them the chance to enjoy the normal life of young people like them. This will be the team’s first long break since their debut in 2013.
“The period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators,” part of the statement reads. “This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20’s, albeit briefly.”
Special request for the fans
Since Jungkook and BTS members will be on their official break, fans were asked to respect the privacy of their favorite idols. Big Hit told fans that if they happen to see any of the members in public, to please show consideration and allow them to enjoy their free time.
In any case, Jungkook has been listed as one of the South Korean idols with the best bodies. Allkpop mentioned that the youngest member of BTS would look awesome in swimwear because of his well-built body.
Meanwhile, the band’s “Bring the Soul: The Movie” was released this weekend, and although it was set to be shown until Aug. 11 only, some theaters announced that it extended the showing to allow more fans to enjoy the film. The movie was a big hit and made history after it was distributed to around 110 countries worldwide.
