Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux enjoyed a few years of being together before ultimately deciding that their relationship wasn’t working. Although they are separated, the ex-couple did say that they were parting ways amicably, opting to remain friends even though they were not going to be romantically involved anymore.
However, gossip publications are pushing a different narrative as multiple tabloids are claiming Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux aren’t as friendly as they said they would be. The latest is from In Touch magazine (via Gossip Cop), which alleged that the “Friends” alum is throwing her weight around in order to hurt her ex’s career.
As the publication would have it, Jennifer Aniston is supposedly trying to bring down Justin Theroux’s celebrity status from an A-list actor to a C-list one. The actress is allegedly doing this because she’s angry that “The Leftovers” star is acting as if they weren’t together.
Allegedly, Justin Theroux has been busy flirting with other women and acting as if he never had a relationship with Jennifer Aniston. Of course, similar to other tabloids, In Touch magazine is hiding behind an untraceable source whom the publication refuses to identify.
People magazine already reported that Jennifer Aniston is too busy with her own life and projects to pay attention to what Justin Theroux is up to. In fact, People’s insider said that the “We’re the Millers” actress doesn’t even talk about Theroux anymore.
Jennifer Aniston herself revealed that she’s contended with where she is at the moment and that gossip tabloids are making a lot of “reckless assumptions” about her personal life. She added that apart from a few trusted confidantes, nobody really knows what she’s gone through physically and emotionally. Of course, it goes without saying that there was some kind of heartbreak after the actress and Justin Theroux parted ways.
But as mentioned earlier, the separation was handled quite maturely by both celebrities. Justin Theroux even flew to Los Angeles on a private jet to see Jennifer Aniston one last time. It’s quite the heartbreaking story as the ex-couple supposedly met late night during Valentine’s Day to talk about the breakup. The following day, they publicly announced that they were ending their two years of being married and seven years of being together.
