About nine months since the release of “Fifty Shades Freed” — aka the movie series’s final installment — Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have both moved on to their own movie and TV projects. The two seem to be having a good time in terms of their personal lives as well.
Dornan was spotted filming with Shailene Woodley in Los Angeles last Friday. The two will be starring in an upcoming movie dubbed the Untitled Drake Doremus Project. Details are still under wraps but Deadline reported that the plot centers on Woodley’s character, Daphne. Johnson’s former onscreen lover, on the other hand, will be playing the role of a writer.
Aside from Dornan and Woodley, the Untitled Drake Doremus Project will also star Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: Winter Soldier”), Matthew Gray Gubler (“Criminal Minds”), and Lindsay Sloane (“The Odd Couple”). Johnson’s former co-star also starred in a movie that came out earlier this month called “A Private War” while fans are still waiting for a specific release date of his major TV project for BBC, titled “Death and Nightingales.”
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson does not seem to be back filming at the moment but she has at least four movie projects lined up after her latest movie with Jamie Dornan. Both of her major films, “Suspiria” and “Bad Times at the El Royale,” premiered last month while two more films with Johnson in the cast are slated to be released in 2019.
As mentioned, both Johnson and Dornan are doing fairly well in their personal lives despite their obviously hectic schedules. Last month, Dornan confirmed that he and his wife, Amelia Warner, are expecting their third baby. Johnson, on the other hand, accidentally sparked pregnancy rumors after her birthday party was mistakenly reported as a gender reveal party.
Like most Hollywood A-List couples, Dakota Johnson and boyfriend Chris Martin have been hounded by all sorts of rumors, including reports of getting engaged. But a spokesperson for Jamie Dornan’s “Fifty Shades” partner denied these claims. Johnson and Martin never discuss their relationship in public, but the actress previously confirmed that she is “very happy” with the Coldplay frontman.
