Roughly two years since their divorce, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have clearly moved on from each other. But there are still rumors that Lambert’s recent surprise wedding affected Shelton’s relationship with Gwen Stefani in some way.
To those who have not been checking online news and social media lately, Lambert celebrated Valentine’s Day by confirming she just got married. The Pistol Annies singer recently tied the knot with New York Police Department Officer Brendan McLoughlin and later shared photos of their ranch wedding in Tennessee to her over 3.5 million Instagram followers.
On the other hand, Shelton and Stefani are constantly rumored to be getting married but none of those claims actually panned out. Interestingly, after Lambert announced her wedding another report came out insisting that Stefani gave Shelton an “ultimatum” to marry her. But it was immediately dismissed by a representative of Stefani who reportedly called the report “bogus” through Gossip Cop.
A source of Us Weekly also said that Shelton had some thoughts about Lambert’s wedding. “Blake commented to Gwen [that] the timing of Miranda’s announcement of the marriage was certainly curious,” the insider said. The same source, however, mentioned that neither Shelton nor Stefani feels the pressure of tying the knot only because Lambert recently did.
“Gwen has three children to consider and Blake has been extremely aware of this at every step. The timing of Gwen and Blake’s wedding date is a work in progress. … Just because Miranda got married in a quickie random situation doesn’t change anything for Gwen and Blake,” the tipster added.

The former No Doubt vocalist said in December that she and her boyfriend feel “zero pressure” in leveling up their relationship by getting engaged or married. “Going through all these hard times, [you] get to a place where you find somebody that’s like your best friend, that you know you can depend on and trust and go through life — we’re just trying to be in the moment as much as we can,” Stefani told the TODAY show. When asked whether Shelton is her forever, the “Hollaback Girl” singer responded, “I hope so.”
