Anyone who is loving the “Immortals Fenyx Rising” is likely wondering already when the three post-launch DLCs are going to be released. Thanks to a recent leak, players already have a clue that the first expansion could go live in the coming weeks.
‘Immortals Fenyx Rising’ ‘planned’ release dates for 3 DLCs leak online
When “Immortals Fenyx Rising” was launched in December, Ubisoft also released a Season Pass for the game, confirming that there would DLCs to follow this year. The developer also confirmed at the time that three expansions would be launched as part of the Season Pass. However, any information about their release dates was not provided.
Fans are no longer clueless about the “Immortals Fenyx Rising” DLC release dates, thanks to what appears to be a leak from the Nintendo eShop. Its European website for Switch titles had reportedly included “planned release date” information for upcoming “Immortals Fenyx Rising” DLCs as shown in a screenshot shared by Nintendo Life.
The information indicates that the “A New God” DLC will be available on Jan. 21. “The Lost Gods” is listed with a Feb. 25 launch, while “Myths of the Eastern Realm” will reportedly be released on April 1.
This succession is interesting, though, because Ubisoft has referred to “The Lost Gods” as “DLC 2” in its “Immortals Fenyx Rising” post-launch roadmap. So it is unclear why Nintendo eShop indicates it would be the second expansion to be released.
Even though the information was spotted from an official Nintendo website, “Immortals Fenyx Rising” players should still wait for the official announcement from Ubisoft. It is also worth noting that the Switch eShop listings particularly used the phrase “planned release date,” suggesting these dates are still tentative.
‘Immortals Fenyx Rising’ post-launch plans: What to expect
Gameplay details about the “Immortals Fenyx Rising” DLCs are still under wraps, but Ubisoft previously released brief synopses for each expansion. In “A New God,” players will have to complete new missions provided by the gods with the ultimate goal of changing the Greek Pantheon. “Myths of the Eastern Realm” is promised to add an all-new story based on Chinese mythology and will add a new in-game hero named Ku. Lastly, ”The Lost Gods” is described as a “top-down exploration and brawler-style combat” that will introduce another hero named Ash and focus on Greek mythology.
Technically, these DLCs are not free since “Immortals Fenyx Rising” players will have to buy the Season Pass to gain access to them once they go live. But the Nintendo eShop listing also indicates each DLC is priced at £11.99 (around $16), suggesting that they will be sold separately for those who do not have the Season Pass.
