As manga readers already know, the “Hunter x Hunter” manga series is currently on an indefinite hiatus once again. But, a fan suggests that it could end sometime in March and “Hunter x Hunter” chapter 391 might be announced that month.
The latest available manga installment was dropped last Nov. 26. The following day, it was reported that series creator Yoshihiro Togashi confirmed he is going for another break due to his health. Reddit user u/HunterYuyuMoon speculated later that the announcement of “Hunter x Hunter” chapter 391 might happen this coming March.
The same manga fan suggested that “Hunter x Hunter” chapter 391, along with other new chapters, might not be released until May. Togashi is also speculated to release new installments in two batches just like what he did in 2018. In that case, it is possible that the other set of chapters will be released in the fall season.
While fans are still waiting for the announcement of “Hunter x Hunter” chapter 391, Togashi confirmed that he will continue working on the series. “The storyboards for the next ten chapters are already done, so I'll get started again soon depending on various circumstances such as my health,” he wrote in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 52 in November 2018.
As for the plot, “Hunter x Hunter” chapter 391 will serve as a continuation of a two-part storyline that focused on the Xi-Yu family. This clan is expected to still be in the spotlight once the manga returns this year.
Xi-Yu clan leader Onior instructed Hinrigh to search for Hisoka in Tier 3 along with the task of killing Morena Prudo. The Xi-Yu men started a clash with the members of the Heil-Ly family, but it ended prematurely when the Heil-Ly gang insisted they were registered as civilians. This prompted Hinrigh to call off the attack, but his mocking expression at the end of the chapter confirms that this battle will most likely continue in “Hunter x Hunter” chapter 391.
