Saint Petersburg, FL, Sept. 07, 2017 -- HempTech Corp. (OTC: HTCO), a provider of advanced Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) with sophisticated automation and analytical tools for the agricultural industry including legal medical cannabis, announces the following;
HempTech Corp’s GrowCOMM engineering and consulting group is announcing its first product in its line of Artificial Intelligence (Ai) grow systems for the medium to large scale growing facilities. The Fertigator.Droid is a fully engineered, industrial grade fertilizing and irrigation, (Fertigation) system that has a brain. Expanding on the intelligence found in the GROW.Droid grow systems, the Fertigator.droid brings machine learning and analytics to the fertigation world.
A fertigator.droid system can easily be added into any existing grow facility, with little or no interruption of the daily grow activities, and will instantly increase productivity and yields by eliminating one of the more costly and labor intensive daily tasks. The system is built into 3 process stages; the first stage prepares the raw water for processing. The next stage adds the necessary nutrient and additives as per the dosing recipe. The third stage interfaces and controls the irrigation. An optional fourth stage is available that can recover a majority of the irrigation run-off and reprocess this water, thus greatly reducing the water demand of the facility.
Brain power is what really separates the Fertigator.droid from any other fertigation system. We have built this system with industrial process control sensors in both the first and second process stages. The “brain” of the system is an industrial PLC, (programmable Logic Controller) with an intelligent human to machine interface, (HMI) screen. This industrial computer brain contains the Artificial intelligence to monitor and control the fertigation process, it does all the thinking for the grower. The program recipe controls nine separate dosing injectors in the two process stages and can be programmed from a simple fertilization schedule to complex mixing that can change at specific intervals throughout the grow cycle.
But this guy is more than just a task master. The fertigator.droid is a thinking machine also. By utilizing powerful data analytics, to access hundreds of data points, the Fertigator.droid helps the grower fine tune the fertigation system to assure that every plant gets what it needs and that nothing is wasted. The Fertigator.driod also can reach out and touch you by sending email or text messages about actions and events and can be remotely controlled by any mobile devise.
