ALACHUA, Fla., Dec. 05, 2017 -- NCCER is proud to announce that their Hard Hat Heroes Credentialing Portal won a 2017 Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) Workforce Development Award. CURT presented the prestigious award at its 2017 Awards of Excellence Celebration at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia on November 14, 2017.

CURT founded the Workforce Development Awards to recognize companies and organizations for extraordinary, exemplary and innovative recruitment, training and education programs, which encourage people to pursue careers in construction.
The Build Your Future military initiative, Hard Hat Heroes, provides a credentialing portal as a way for veterans to receive NCCER credentials for skills and training they received while in the service. There are currently over 70 task alignments available with more scheduled to be released early 2018. The easy-to-use portal also provides a way for employers to look up military specialties and match them with NCCER credentials.
