“Haikyuu” chapter 387 promises to be intense because it will be the start of the second match between the Black Jackals and the Schweiden Adlers. The former took the win in the first set and watchers are still in awe at Hinata’s stunning improvement on the court.
“Haikyuu” chapter 387 will follow the previous story titled “Freedom” and as it suggests, the players played the game in their positions freely. It means, they did what they want and exhibited their own styles to help their team win the game and this is exactly what Hinata did.

In the last episode, Hinata really played without holding back and was “free in his zone.” The end of the first set after an exciting game was in favor of the Black Jackals as they won with a score of 25-20.
Apparently, the team has gotten the lead due to Hinata’s exceptional play throughout the first set. His playing skills have always been overwhelming but it was even more precise and sharper after he returned from Brazil where he mostly played beach volleyball. He can now set, defend and attack all by himself which is an amazing ability.
Plot prediction
On Reddit, fans shared what can be expected in the upcoming “Haikyuu” chapter 387. They said that the start of the second set will surely be full of tensions as the players will be more zealous as the game heats up. The Adlers will be rallying to catch up to win the second set and most likely, they will all be forced to have a third game set.
Hinata was the focus on the last episode and in “Haikyuu” chapter 387, it was predicted that the focus may shift to Kageyama as he tries to do something to stop the Black Jackal’s attacks and break down their defense. Moreover, the loss in the first set did not just upset Kagayema but Ushijima was visibly furious as well so the upcoming match will not be easy.
Noshinoya’s whereabouts
Many fans were looking for Nishinoya because his absence really got attention. They did not know where he went but last time, it was finally revealed that he may have given up volleyball for good. In “Haikyuu” chapter 376, he was shown fishing in Italy but remained in contact with Asahi which is a good thing because this gave a glimpse of hope that he will one day return to the game.
Release date
“Haikyuu” chapter 387 will be released on March 22 as per Straw Hat Manga. It was supposed to come on March 15 but it was delayed. Raw scans are expected to be out by March 20.
