Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton just sparked rumors that they have already tied the knot.
After performing a duet at the Grammys, eagle-eyed netizens and some publications noticed how “The Voice” coaches dropped clues about their alleged wedding.
Country Living noted that Shelton’s suit didn’t just look like a simple tuxedo but it looked like an attire that you would wear to a wedding. Stefani, on the other hand, wore a stunning white gown that was adorned with a red heart design.
Cosmopolitan echoed the publication’s observation by saying that the theme of Stefani and Shelton’s attire at the Grammys seemed very bridal. Additionally, the lyrics of their new song, “Nobody But You,” also sounded like a wedding song.
Some fans also claimed that the lyrics of the couple’s new track could’ve easily been their wedding vows. As such, they might have just exchanged their wedding vows on live television.
“Oh wow… Blake & Gwen just exchanged their wedding vows live on the #Grammys and I was here for it!” Twitter user @KarinBarasa said.
“Did they forget to tell us that this is actually Blake and Gwen’s wedding? #Grammys,” Twitter user @Katie_Co_Co said.
“Don’t even lie… Y’all were hoping @blakeshelton was gonna get down on one knee during that performance! #Grammys,” Twitter user @MGaragiola said.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Stefani and Shelton’s alleged wedding or engagement made headlines. Earlier this month, Shelton gave a cryptic response when asked if already wed his girlfriend of four years.
When Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier asked Shelton if Stefani still has a girlfriend or if their label has changed recently, Shelton gave the most hilarious response.
“I haven’t read the magazines this morning, I don’t know what we are yet…” he said.
During another interview with the publication, Shelton revealed that he doesn’t take offense with all of the rumors surrounding his relationship with Stefani.
“I love the rumors. The rumors are great. Anybody that thinks that I’m married to Gwen already, I love it. My God. Who wouldn’t want to be married to Gwen Stefani?” he said.
