When it comes to Hollywood tall tales, there can be some truly petty ones that deserve highlighting if only to show how ridiculous they are. In the case of a recent Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton story, for example, it insinuated that the couple felt Miranda Lambert was being petty. This is due to a change in lyrics that the country songstress made on stage that is being taken as a jab at her former husband.
As Gossip Cop reports, HollywoodLife is at it again with its ridiculous posting of fabricated drama and stories. Fortunately, its Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton gossip this time is a lot less harmful than what it usually puts out. It simply had to do with Miranda Lambert supposedly taking a dig at The Voice judge by changing the lyrics of a song from “I live in Oklahoma” to “I got the hell out of Oklahoma.
For anyone interested, the song is “Little Red Wagon” and it would appear that Miranda Lambert has been singing it for years. This didn’t stop the publication from claiming that the Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton pair thought it was petty. There are even rumors now that the No Doubt songstress wants revenge for the jab.
While there have been no actual responses to the latter, the matter of how petty the Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton thought the change in lyrics was is easier to dispel. That is to say, the two might not have even been in the audience at the time when the song was going. There was certainly no footage of them to be found and no photos of their reactions were taken.
What’s more, a similar Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton story was already published by the same outlet before with the same claim. It could very well be that the songstress wants to take her own shot at her boyfriend’s ex-wife for such jabs. However, there have been no concrete developments on that matter.
