Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton released an early gift for their fans and the response was awesome. The power couple in the field of music dropped their Christmas-themed music video on Nov. 20 and it features the track "You Make It Feel Like Christmas."
The song piece is actually part of Gwen Stefani’s holiday album of the same title that was first released last year. Although this is an old song, it is like new again after its music video was published online. What’s more, it garnered good response as the MV was so light – romantic but funny and definitely fit for the season.
Stefani, 49, and Shelton, 42, exude old Hollywood glamour as they get in the holiday spirit in a romantic comedy-themed Christmas video, featuring ball gowns, Santa Claus and a good old-fashioned food fight.
The music video opens with the 42-year-old country singer driving a convertible while the snow continues to drop. There is a large Christmas tree sitting between them but they comfortably drive around and start to hum some tunes.
Then Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are shown singing on the stage while young musicians provide the music for their duet. The couple also built a snowman, tried cracking a nut, cooking and preparing a holiday feast, food fight and there was even jealousy as the former got super chummy with Santa Claus!
One of Blake Shelton’s lines in the song goes like "Thought I was done for, thought that love had died, But you came along I swear you saved my life.”
It continues, “And I wanna thank you, baby, You make it feel like Christmas."
This line was strikingly very different from what Blake’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert released not long ago. Her new songs obviously throw shade at Gwen Stefani’s current boyfriend although she wouldn’t say it.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton admitted that they are dating in 2015 and in the three years that they are a couple, they seem very happy and their relationship just gets stronger. However, the pair is not ready to tie the knot yet and they are just simply content with forming a family together with the “Hollaback Singer’s” kids with Gavin Rossdale - Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10 and Apollo, 4.
