Fans of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton might need to get used to surprise performances from these artists. The “Hollaback Girl” singer recently crashed her boyfriend’s concert, which their fans obviously enjoyed watching.
Shelton joined the star-studded lineup of the three-day Watershed Music Festival that concluded last Aug. 5. But along with his concert was a surprise appearance from her girlfriend and former co-judge in NBC’s “The Voice.”
The official social media page of Watershed Music Festival shared a video of Stefani’s unexpected performance. Meanwhile, reports have it that Gwen Stefani popped out of the stage amid Blake Shelton’s Watershed Music Festival set, adding to the element of surprise. In the video, the audience is heard singing along to her very popular song “Hollaback Girl.” Shelton headlined the music festival last Friday, Aug. 3 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington.
Apart from Shelton, the 2018 Watershed Music Festival also featured sets from some of the most popular country music artists in the United States. The three-day event featured performances from Brad Paisley, Dustin Lynch, RaeLynn, Cole Swindell, and more.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that it was not the first time Gwen Stefani surprised country music fans with a performance during Blake Shelton’s set. Back at the 2016 Country Jam festival in Colorado, Stefani also appeared on stage to join Shelton in performing “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” — one of the songs included in the latter’s “I’m Honest” album.
Shelton and Stefani’s relationship was confirmed in 2015 by their representatives after rumors of them dating have been all over the internet and newsstands. Earlier in that year, they each filed for divorce from their previous spouses.
Blake Shelton was married to Miranda Lambert for four years while Gwen Stefani had been with Gavin Rossdale for 13 years. Reports alleged Rossdale of being involved with another woman during his marriage with Stefani, leading to their separation.
