Data released so far –

 

  • Australia – New motor vehicle sales rose 2.3% y/y in February but down -0.1% on monthly basis.

 

  • Japan – BOJ kept monetary policy on hold.

 

Upcoming –  

 

  • Japan – BIJ governor Kuroda is scheduled to speak at 6:30 GMT.

 

  • France – Consumer inflation will be released at 7:45 GMT.

 

  • Italy – Inflation for February will be released at 9:00 GMT.

 

  • India – Trade deficit for February government will be released at 9:30 GMT. RBI will announce balance of payment statistics for fourth quarter at 11:30 GMT.

 

  • Euro Zone – Employment change for fourth quarter will be released at 10:00 GMT.

 

  • US – New York empire State manufacturing will be released at 12:30 GMT along with retail sales report and producer price index report. Redbook index will be released at 12:55 GMT. NAHB housing market index at 14:00 GMT.

 

  • New Zealand – Dairy auction is scheduled today. Current account balance will be released at 21:45 GMT.

 

  • Australia – Westpac leading index will be released at 23:00 GMT.
