‘Guardian of the Witch’ chapter 14: Skirmish between the two Guardian-Witch teams

Guardian of the Witch / Facebook

The upcoming “Guardian of the Witch” chapter 14 will finally arrive in a couple of days. But for fans who can hardly wait, here are some exciting speculations on what the installment could bring.

In the latest “Guardian of the Witch” manga chapter, which can be read on Mangaplus, the forces of Valli were put on high alert in an effort to capture Manasfa, Fafner, and Nahta. To fire up the troops, Valli Rector Hugo Ouv Shishimaru offered a very tempting reward. “To whoever captures the deserters, I will grant great honor,” he said.

Meanwhile, Manasfa, Fafner, and Nahta were busy implementing their plan to infiltrate the witch’s tower. Nahta observed that Villa’s witch Spica Coulane was wearing a bandage across her face, which was likely done to hide evidence of the scarring due to the seed of evil. Since Valli is only a small town, Nahta concluded that Spica is probably overworked.

Nahta’s analysis was actually spot on. Inside the tower, Spica was seen in front of a mirror with evidence of the “seed of evil” all over her body.

She was trying to decide whether Fafner’s group is really bad. Eventually, she reached the conclusion that since they went against the rules, she has no choice but to fight.

It was at that moment that Fafner, Manasfa, and Nahta barged in through the window. As Spica was about to fire off a spell, the three raised their arms indicating that they did not want to fight.

“We came here to talk,” Manasfa explained. “I had to tell you that there could be a way to change a witch’s fate.” She explained that they’re on their way to Noir to find out about it.

Spica considered the info carefully but, in the end, she decided that they’re just rumors meant to fool her. She also pointed out that she won’t abandon the people she needs to protect just like Manasfa did.

But Manasfa slowly explained to Spica that it was Fafner, her guardian, who first saw her as a normal girl. This experience had a profound effect on her and, as a fellow witch, she also wanted Spica to know that like her, she’s also a normal girl too.

Unfortunately, they were not able to talk for long since Claude Graus, Spica’s guardian was already at that door. The three were already able to leave the tower before Claude managed to open the door.

“Guardian of the Witch” chapter 14 will feature a change between the two groups. While Spica was initially debating on whether to tell Claude or not, she eventually decided to tell her guardian where the intruders were heading and so they gave chase.

A brief skirmish between the two Guardian-Witch teams will likely happen in “Guardian of the Witch” chapter 14. However, cooler heads could prevail and the two teams will just talk about what Manasfa aims to do.

There’s a good chance that Claude will reconsider Fafner’s side as it is evident that he cares for Spica. However there brief skirmish will likely be noticed by Hugo Ouv Shishimaru, who will send reinforcements.

“Guardian of the Witch” chapter 14 will arrive on May 17. Stay tuned for updates.
