At the Spice Shop, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) search for answers and stumble upon a rare potion that may help the fight. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Adalind (Claire Coffee) try to keep Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) and baby Kelly safe as the threat has its eyes set on the children.”
Nick is set on going into battle with his greatest nemesis as the American supernatural drama television series’ end draws near. According to Christian Post, the series’ lead character is determined to continue the fight to save the world despite losing his valuable allies Wu (Reggie Lee) and Hank (Russell Hornsby). It was hinted that Nick may need to look into his bloodline for guidance in defeating the Zerstörer in the final battle. Fellow Grimm Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) will be joining Nick in the fight.
Meanwhile, Monroe, Eve, and Rosalee will be banding together in search of answers that would lead them to a rare potion to help in the fight against evil. Captain Renard and Adalind will also face their own challenges as they do everything they can to protect Diana and baby Kelly from the Zerstörer.
During a previous interview with Yahoo! TV, Giuntoli teased what to expect in the finale episode. When asked if Nick think clearly following the deaths of Wu and Hank, Giuntoli replied, “No, he’s not thinking. When Nick isn’t solely vengeful, those are his best days. And he is solely vengeful in this final episode. There’s nothing strategic going on.”
When asked about details on the finale, he replied, “It ends. There’s no like ‘what happened’ ambiguity. It is fully spelled out for you. People will be happy.” He added, “We play with—this is a tease I haven’t given anyone—the fabric of space-time in a way we have not yet seen. Imagine you’re riding on a ray of light. [Laughs] Yes, we play with time. You’re going to see the future, and you’re going to see time jumps.”
‘Grimm’ season 6, episode 13, titled “The End,” is scheduled to air on NBC on March 31, 2017. It was directed by David Greenwalt and written by Greenwalt and Jim Kouf.
