‘Gotham’ season 3’s episode 11, entitled “Beware the Green-Eyed Monster", will feature Barbara attempting to pit Nygma and Penguin against each other. She will present Nygma with new information regarding his lover Isabella’s death, tracing the murder to his former friend and ally Penguin. Meanwhile, Gordon may attempt to stop Lee from marrying Mario.
The synopsis for episode 11 posted on Cartermatt reads, “As the virus begins to spread in Gotham, the laboratory that is developing a cure is compromised. Mario (James Carpinello) and Gordon (Ben McKenzie) face off before the wedding, Selina (Camren Bicondova) meets an unexpected face and Barbara (Erin Richards) comes to Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) with information about Isabella (Chelsea Spack).”
The incoming episode will follow Barbara as she attempts to pit Nygma and Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a. Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) against each other with information regarding Isabella’s death. In the preceding episode, Nygma captured and tortured Butch (Drew Powell) and Tabitha (Jessica Lucas) believing that the two were responsible for his girlfriend’s murder. However, he let them go after realizing that they did not commit the murder.
According to Comicbook.com, Barbara will present Nygma with new information that connects Penguin to Isabella’s murder. It would be interesting to see how the two former allies will fight it out after Nygma discovers this horrible truth.
Meanwhile, the mad virus created from Alice Tetch’s (Naian Gonzalez Norvind) blood continues to infect the citizens Gotham city. It already claimed Gotham City Police Department's (GCPD) former captain Nathaniel Barnes (Michael Chiklis) and Lee’s fiancée Mario has already shown signs of being infected as well.
In Gordon’s pursuit of stopping the virus from spreading further, it may be possible that he would attempt to stop Lee from marrying Mario in his current state. It doesn’t help that the laboratory working on a cure for the virus is compromised.
The incoming episode will also find Bruce and Selina working together to infiltrate the mysterious crime organization, the Court of Owls.
‘Gotham’ season 3’s episode 11, entitled “Beware the Green-Eyed Monster", is scheduled to air on Fox on November 28, 2016.
