Being one of the most followed Hollywood couples, just like George Clooney and Amal Clooney, comes with a price. That is the relentless media attention wherever they go that also entail constant rumors of a rocky marriage and an impending divorce.
George and Amal have experienced all that. But recently, a rumor switched up the tone of the report. It is being claimed that the Clooneys were forced to get on the same page about their marriage because Amal is allegedly pregnant with their second set of twins.
George Clooney, Amal Clooney: Marriage issues solved with to-be-born twins?
One of the reports with this kind of story was published in the tabloid Star. It claimed that George and Amal are expecting another boy and girl twins and that it was totally unexpected. The headline also shows that the report is anchored with fresh rumors of the Clooneys’ divorce.
In the story, a source said George and Amal were not expecting to have another set of twins and plans to make an announcement once the human rights lawyer reaches her fifth or sixth month of pregnancy. After learning he has two more kids on the way, the same insider claimed that George has decided to cancel his upcoming work schedules so he could fully focus on taking care of his family.
It was further claimed that Amal’s second pregnancy was what saved her and George’s marriage. The unverified claims did not stop there. The same story said the couple wants to have former United States President Barack Obama to be the godfather again for the new twins. However, in a follow-up report by Gossip Cop, a representative for the actor ultimately denied Amal is pregnant with twins or that the Clooneys have a tough marriage.
Multi-million divorce rocked Clooneys in early 2019
Star’s report was not the first time George and Amal were rumored having a second set of twins since Alexander and Ella were born in 2017. The same goes for reports that the two would be getting divorced.
Just earlier this year, Radar Online reported that Amal walked out of their vacation while they were allegedly dealing with a $520 million-worth of divorce. But it was shortly debunked by the actor’s spokesperson who told Hollywood Life at the time, “The story is made up.”
