George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are rumored to have split and already living apart for months. It was alleged that the couple ended their 4-year marriage early this year and this was due to continuous fighting over their different lifestyles.
Back in January, Radar Online reported that Clooney and Alamuddin have split and the latter left their marital home with their twins - Ella and Alexander. The publication stated that since the conflict with his wife erupted, the “Batman” no longer or rarely seen his kids and in fact, they have not been photographed together for more than six months already.
“George and Amal have been arguing over their varying lifestyles and rumors of a rift have been going around for months,” the source told Radar. “She’s all business, he’s all play. They’re like oil and water that don’t mix. There’s the talk of a possible custody fight over the twins.”
With George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s reported marriage trouble, the two are said to be preparing for court battle over the custody of their twins. In addition to this, the divorce case will also begin to formalize their separation.
Based on the story, Amal moved to Sardinia in Italy with Ella and Alexander after a huge fight over George’s supposed excessive partying. Although it was mentioned that the actor is only doing this to release stress, his wife does not like it.
“George has been partying a lot and hanging out with his business partner Rande Gerber. He likes to be the life of the party. It helps him to take his mind off his troubles,” the insider added.
Hollywood Life also reported that George and Amal’s divorce case is worth $520 million but the publication later confirmed that the news is false. It labeled the report as “made up” after reaching out to the actor’s representative for comments on the matter.
As stated, the truth about George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s split is that the narrative was totally untrue. This also means that the barrister did not flee from their home and run away to an island in Sardinia. The couple is still together and very much in love which is evident in their red carpet appearances and dinner date photos taken by paparazzi.
