FxWirePro: Asian markets start a new week on positive note, gold stabilizes below $1,240 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,237 mark while silver was trading around $14.54 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.62 pct higher at 21507.50 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.95 pct higher at 5,655.40 points.

Shanghai composite index 0.1 percent higher, erases earlier losses and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,158.28 points.

Taiwanese stock was trading around 0.21 percent higher at 9,794.45 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.09 pct higher at 26,118.25 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.18 percent higher at 2,073.55 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.55 percent higher at 10,865.58 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.68 points higher at 36,195.55 points.
