FxWirePro: Asian markets mixed, gold hovers around $1,240 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Tuesday. Gold was trading around $1,240 mark while silver was trading around $15.78 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.76 pct higher at 22,768.50 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.51 pct lower at 6,209.85 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.3 pct at 2,806.89 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,466.42 points.

Hong Kong’s hang seng was trading 1.05 percent lower at 28,241.02 points.

Taiwanese stocks was trading around 0.45 percent lower at 10,741.93 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.17 percent higher at 10,955.22 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.12 points higher at 36,366.82 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.06 percent lower at 2,300.94 points.
