FxWirePro: Asian markets drastically lower, gold touches $1,315 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a lower note Monday. Gold was trading around $1,315 mark while silver was trading around $15.44 mark.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 3.17 pct lower at 20,942.85 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.20 pct lower at 6,121.41 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 1.5 pct at 3,058.80 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 1.5 pct at 3,776.44 points.

Taiwanese stock was trading around 1.48 percent lower at 10,481.34 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.80 pct lower at 28,592.25 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.01 percent lower at 2,186.48 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.91 percent lower at 11,353.58 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.95 points lower at 37,800.87 points.

Philippines stocks fall as much as 2.2 pct to 7,835.39, their biggest intraday fall in nearly a month.

Thai stocks fall 1 pct to 1,629.86, their biggest intraday decline in over a month, ahead of results of first election since 2014 coup.
