"Fuller House" season 5 is returning to Netflix but as fans already know, it will be the series’ farewell season as it is set to sign off after this installment. Now, while the cast and crew are preparing for their finale, one of the actors Tori Loughlin has been embroiled in a college admissions scandal.
The 55-year-old actress that has been starring in “Fuller House” as Aunt Becky, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, were accused of paying out $500,000 to make sure that their daughters will be admitted to the University of Southern California on the pretext that she is an athlete since grades will not let her in. The couple has been scheduled to appear in a Boston court on April 3.
Because of this scandal, Hallmark dropped Loughlin from network's series titled “When the Heart Calls” and Page Six reported that she will also be booted out of “Fuller House” season 5. Just as these things happened to their colleague and “family,” the stars of the “Full House” reboot expressed their full support to the actress.
At the recent Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, “Fuller House” received the Favorite Funny TV Show trophy and during her speech, Vanity Fair quoted Candace Cameron-Bure as saying, "Family sticks together no matter what," she stated in her speech, which she later put on Instagram. "They stick together through the hard times. They support each other. They encourage one another.”
She added, “They pray for each other, and they stand by their side no matter how tough it gets. And a loving family that sticks together also celebrates the really good times together."
Although she did not mention Lori Loughlin, it is obvious that she just expressed her full support to the actress as she deals with her troubles. Meanwhile, “Fuller House” season 5 has not airdate yet but based on prediction, it will be out before the year ends.
