Fans want “Frozen 2,” and finally, it is happening. The most awaited Disney animation of the year will be arriving in a few weeks and the excitement was only heightened with the release of new trailers and posters.
The movie is a certified blockbuster that was released in 2013. It was shown in theaters worldwide and ticket sales were said to have reached the $1.2 billion mark. As a result, the film was recognized as the top-grossing film for years.
The “Frozen 2” plot theories
Disney posted the film’s first-ever trailer in February and it created many theories with regards to the plot. It showed Elsa using her powers to freeze the sea so she can walk over but her attempts had been futile. She has a determined and angry look on her face and fans deduced that she is preparing to go to an unknown battle and suggesting that there are new enemies.
There is also a popular theory that Elsa and Anna are looking for their parents who may still be alive. They are trying to track them as someone may have just abducted King Agnarr and Queen Iduna when they disappeared in the sea while traveling a long time ago. In the previous Tim Hill podcast, it was suggested that this plot is possible because it seems that the sisters are looking for clues that will confirm that indeed, their parents died when their boat supposedly sunk during a storm.
Another “Frozen 2” plot theory that has been going around stated that Elsa is searching where her powers came from. She wants to know how she acquired it and from whom.
Preview confirms one of the popular plot theories
The newest video teaser for “Frozen 2,” two of the much-publicized theories was debunked while the third was confirmed to be correct. The clip showed Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven traveling to an enchanted forest to find the truth about Queen Elsa’s icy power and save Arendelle as well.
“Frozen 2” is slated to arrive on Nov. 22 worldwide, although some countries may release it earlier than scheduled. Check out the preview below.
