The first trailer for “Frozen 2” has finally been released. In February, Walt Disney Animation Studio published the preview of the sequel to the 2013’s blockbuster hit animation and the responses were overwhelming.
The clip of “Frozen 2” featured the main characters of the original movie and this means fans were able to see Elsa, Anna, Olaf the snowman and Kristoff once again. The teaser was not that long and did not really show the exact plot of the upcoming film. However, the bits and pieces of details shown in the trailer are enough to have both fans and film reviewers to come up with guesses as to what the story will be.
The trailer opened with Elsa trying to cross the ocean using her powers to freeze the water. She failed and what she was trying to do is not clear. But in a recent podcast hosted by bloggers who are well-known for revealing accurate details about upcoming Disney films, the plot of “Frozen 2” may have just been unveiled.
According to Jim Hill and Drew Taylor via podcast, “Frozen 2” will be about Anna and Elsa looking for answers as to what really happened to their parents. This suggests that the sisters have suspicions that there could be more stories behind their parents’ deaths or it is also possible that they are alive and just trapped in some place where only Anna and Elsa could save them through their powers.
The trailer also showed other seasons like the autumn and it is possible that new powers will be introduced in “Frozen 2.” Some suggested that the four seasons could form a team or the newcomers will be Elsa and Anna’s foes.
At any rate, it can be recalled that Elsa and Anna’s parents were said to have died in a shipwreck. They were never found and the sisters could be doing their own investigation to uncover the parents’ disappearance and perhaps, secrets.
“Frozen 2” is slated to premiere in theaters on Nov. 22.
