Leaked information suggests that “Fortnite” is coming to the Nintendo Switch and that it will be announced during the Electronics Entertainment Expo next month.
A photo circulated within the internet walls of 4Chan on Thursday sparked rumors that “Fortnite” is arriving on the hit hybrid portable Nintendo console. This information was reportedly confirmed by some sources who spoke to Kotaku.
The said leaked image appears to be a program for the Nintendo media event during the Tuesday leg of E3 2018 in Los Angeles, California.
Some people might be doubtful of the said photo considering that it came from 4Chan. However, Kotaku reports that they have reasons to believe that a “Fortnite” announcement during Nintendo’s E3 event is likely to happen.
The publication said they also talked to someone from Epic Games, who asked to stay anonymous for obvious reasons, and he or she previously confirmed that the studio is actually working on a Nintendo Switch version of the popular game. And, as expected in this kind of situation, Epic Games has yet to confirm or deny the rumors.
The leaked photo also shows several other video games that are supposed to be arriving on the Nintendo Switch. While no official confirmation is currently available, reports are weaving all other indications that the pictured program could be legitimate.
For one, the official Twitter account for “Killer Queen Arcade” changed all its profile images to completely black, as if insinuating that something will be revealed soon. Meanwhile, VentureBeat said there have been speculations that “Paladins” will be released on the Nintendo Switch. Both these games are also listed in the supposed E3 2018 program of Nintendo.
Other video games’ logos present in the pictured document are “Dragon Ball FighterZ,” “FIFA 19,” “Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate,” “Mario Tennis Aces,” “Overcooked 2” and “Starlink: Battle for Atlas.”
E3 2018 happens from June 12 to 14 at the L.A. Convention Center.
