‘Fairy Tail’ Episode 309 Release Date, Spoilers: What to Expect in the Upcoming Fight Between Gray and Natsu

“Fairy Tail” Episode 309 will be kick-starting the fight between Natsu and Gray. The latter just recently learned of the former’s true nature when the ice-wielder defeated Invel.

Before Gray attacks his friend in “Fairy Tail” Episode 309, he’ll first attempt to talk to Natsu to confirm if he is indeed E.N.D. However, Natsu will not be able to respond rationally as he’s now been consumed by rage after seeing Lucy’s unconscious form. Gray takes this as evidence that Invel’s words are true and starts to attack.

But Natsu will act first, his hands transforming into a demon-like claw ready to tear the Ice Mage apart. Gray will stand his ground and brace himself for the attack. The collision blows apart a large area where the two are fighting. Before everything settles down, Natsu will strike again, this time unleashing a stream of fire with Gray responding in equal measure. “Fairy Tail” Episode 309 will have both these mages unleash one devastating attack after another, their fight filled with hatred and tactics.

Gray will employ a counter-attack approach geared towards trapping and immobilizing Natsu. The fire-wielder, on the other hand, is using an all-out method, his self-control slipping as the battle rages on. Before things spiral further, Erza arrives at the scene and stops both men from killing each other. “Fairy Tail” Episode 309 will be using the redhead as a means to have Natsu and Gray snap out of their current state of mind and remind them that they’re both on the same side.

Moved by Erza’s tears, the two fighters finally back down and realize what they’ve been doing. “Fairy Tail” Episode 309 will also be reuniting Gray with Juvia, a fact that brought the Ice Mage to his knees as the realization came barreling down that his friend didn’t actually die during their clash against Invel.

Meanwhile, Natsu will be collapsing from exhaustion now that his demonic form has been dampened somewhat. Lucy will be there to look after the fiery mage as the protagonists ready themselves to fight Zeref. “Fairy Tail” Episode 309 will be dropping on May 18 and fans can’t wait for the epic showdown between Natsu and Gray.
