“Fairy Tail” Episode 307 will be continuing the battle between Gray and Invel. Right now, the latter is in a comfortable position after managing to cast Ice Lock on Gray and Juvia.
The spell compels those caught in it to kill each other. But before Gray and Juvia’s mind succumb to Ice Lock, they resist long enough to hurt themselves. Invel is shocked at the pair’s willpower to commit suicide, resulting in him letting his guard down. With the threat eliminated, the Winter General breaks the duo from their bondage and proceeds to hunt down Natsu in “Fairy Tail” Episode 307.
Before he could leave, however, Gray attacks him from behind. Surprised that Gray managed to survive his supposed suicide, Invel casts True-Ice Kamui. The Winter General is then covered in ice armor that he describes as “unholy,” allowing him to freeze absolutely anything, even those immune to ice. Not to be denied of his vengeance, Gray proceeds to shatter the ice armor by molding it as his own. He then casts Ice Devil's Zeroth Destruction Fist in “Fairy Tail” Episode 307, granting him a pair of gauntlets that he uses to beat down Invel.
Upon his defeat, the Winter General mocks Gray and told him that misfortune will continue to hang over his head as long as Natsu lives. The Spriggan even told Gray that he would be the one to kill Natsu, not Zeref. As for Juvia, she’s going to be fine although it’s safe to assume that she’ll be out of commission after “Fairy Tail” Episode 307.
Although this arc has been action-packed, it’s difficult to fully immerse in the gripping battle due to the animation quality of the series. Fans have been pointing out that the show isn’t what it used to be, citing 2014 as the year where it was at its zenith. As for the release date of “Fairy Tail” Episode 307, it’s been slated to drop on May 4.
