MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FLW, the world's largest tournament-fishing organization, announced today that BRP's Evinrude brand has re-signed a multi-year agreement to remain an official outboard engine sponsor, marking their 15th consecutive year as a sponsor of FLW. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The Evinrude brand will receive exposure and have prominent presence across all of FLW's platforms, including on-site activation at all FLW tournaments and Expos, the "FLW" television program which airs on the NBC Sports Network, World Fishing Network and the Pursuit Channel, FLW Bass Fishing magazine, promotion on FLW's social media outlets and FLW's fully-responsive website.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Evinrude will launch a contingency award programs for boaters competing in the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL). BRP will award $300 to the highest Evinrude finisher in each qualifying tournament, $1,000 at regional events, and $5,000 at the BFL All-American if he or she is the registered owner of a 2012 or newer 90- to 250-horsepower Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine. All contingency payouts will be administered by FLW, allowing for immediate payouts at each tournament.
