Musk responded to this tweet a few hours later, stating that he would dismiss the litigation against the company in exchange for a name change. Musk composed, "Change your name." He replied, "To ClosedAI, and I will drop the lawsuit."

Musk made further progress. A modified image of Sam Altman donning a guest ID card bearing the inscription "ClosedAI" was subsequently distributed by him.
